Processing services – Professional, high-precision steel and metal processing
With our modern machinery, we process the products precisely according to your wishes.
Sawing and cutting
We cut steel and metal precisely to length, in Europe's most high-tech cutting and sawing centre.
Learn moreTube laser cutting
Thanks to laser technology, we are able to saw, drill, mill and deburr steel and metal in a single process step.
Learn moreFriction drilling
Using modern equipment, we realise chipless passages in thin-walled profiles.
Learn moreEdge and surface finishing
We deliver metal blanks deburred and free of rust, scale and rolling skin. If required, we can also provide blanks preserved, lasered or barrel finished.
Learn moreWhat is copper used for?
The most important areas for the use of copper are electrical and electronic engineering. Thanks to its excellent conductivity, copper is used in power and broadband cables, and as a layer material for processor manufacturing. In addition to pure copper, copper alloys such as bronze (copper-tin alloy) and brass (copper-zinc alloy) are also used in industry.
Further areas of application include:
- Construction industry
- Apparatus and plant engineering
- Arts and crafts
- Supply and communication technology
- Mechanical engineering
- Medicine

What are the properties of copper?
As a relatively soft metal, copper is very easy to stretch and form and can be easily rolled, forged and stamped. It is the highest conductor of heat and electricity after silver.
Copper is also UV and corrosion resistant and (unlike steel) does not become brittle even at long-term low temperatures. It can be welded and soldered, galvanised, pickled, etched, sandblasted, polished and painted.
The non-ferrous metal is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.
What is copper?
Copper is a chemical element and belongs to the group of non-ferrous metals. As a weakly reactive heavy metal, copper is a semi-precious metal. Copper is the most important utility metal after iron and aluminium. In nature, copper occurs in the form of metal, i.e. in copper ores.
